May 4: Mead Ranch Vernal Pools

Hike through the historic and beautiful Mead Ranch in the hills northeast of Napa to see a rare treat: its vernal pools. With the addition of rain, the pools will come to life with the ephemeral wildflowers unique to vernal pools. Co-sponsor: Napa Valley Chapter of the California Native Plant Society.

Field Trip registration closes three (3) days prior to the event date.

Please note that minors will need to be accompanied by an adult, and will need to provide a signed minor waiver to participate.
